Maintenance and replacement of Sullair air filter element:02250125-372 Sullair Air Compressor Genuine Air Filter
The air filter element should be checked every day. Clean the dust bag and clean the dust cover every day. In a dusty environment, cleaning work should be more frequent.
Whenever the air filter element is clogged to indicate the red area, the filter element should be maintained; every 250 hours of work or 2 months, no matter who arrives first, check whether the air compartment is damaged and the air intake system is not tightly sealed; every 1500 work Hours or a year, no matter who appears first in both cases, the air filter element should be replaced.
Maintenance work can be carried out according to the following steps:
(1) Unscrew the bolts, take off the end cover, and take out the air compartment;
(2) The method of dust removal is: use compressed air to blow from the inside to the outside. The mouthpiece is about 10mm away from the inner surface of the filter element, from top to bottom along the circumference;
(3) In addition to dust removal, Sullair air filter maintenance should also be checked for damage. The method is to put a lighted bulb inside the filter element, and then carefully observe the outside to see if there is any light transmission;
(4) The service life of the air filter element is about 1000 hours. In dusty areas, the time to replace the air filter element should be shortened accordingly.
The engine needs to suck in a lot of air during the working process. If the air is not filtered, the dust suspended in the air is sucked into the cylinder, which will accelerate the wear of the piston assembly and the cylinder. Larger particles entering between the piston and the cylinder will cause serious “cylinder pull” phenomenon, which is especially serious in a dry and sandy working environment.
The air filter is installed in front of the carburetor or the air intake pipe to filter out dust and sand particles in the air and ensure that sufficient and clean air enters the cylinder.
